All educators in Centier communities are invited to attend the FREE 8th annual Financial Literacy Fair for Educators held at the Centier Centre on Wednesday, October 16th from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Space is limited to 50 attendees.
Teachers will receive financial literacy materials that can be implemented directly in their classrooms and have been correlated to state standards. The first ten schools to register will receive a $50 check at the fair to help subsidize the cost of their substitute.
Educators from community organizations will find the materials interesting, easy to follow and very valuable for their clients. All will leave with free financial capability materials that can be taught to their students or clients.
As always, there will be a module on the FDIC’s Money Smart materials. Other presenters will be from the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, Indiana Attorney General’s Office, Junior Achievement, Northwest Indiana Education Service Center and the Office of Financial Education, Consumer Financial Protection Bureau in Washington.
More information can be found by emailing Centier’s Financial Capabilities Coordinator, Dian Reyome, at email@example.com.
