Declined PIN Transactions

Recent enhancements to our card processing system have identified a potential issue with PIN use on some clients debit cards. In these cases, clients may be declined for transactions requiring their PIN number either at ATMs or merchants.  Signature transactions at merchants will continue to work.

If you have been impacted by this issue, please stop by any Centier branch, where this issue will be corrected on site.  If you are unable to come to an office, please call our Client Service Center at (219) 756-2265 for assistance over the phone. Again, signature based or “credit” transactions (not requiring PIN) are unaffected.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. The issue was unforeseen, and we are doing all we can to provide a quick and positive resolution for anyone impacted by the situation.
